Group Travel Conference wraps up in Cancun, Mexico!

Excitement continues here at Adventure Headquarters.

As we’ve mentioned before, when Mission:Adventuring  first opened, we began by doing what we knew best…

We. Know. Travel.  But even more specifically…

We’re EXPERTS in GROUP Travel.

So, in keeping with that theme, we spent much of this past week enjoying some over the top, 5-star luxury at The Grand at Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico and examining ways we can bring our clients MORE of what we already specialize in. We were there to attend the Group Travel Conference, meeting with some of the travel industry’s TOP suppliers, many of whom you know quite well; Southwest Vacations, United Vacations, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Globus Family of Brands. Even our friends at AmaWaterways were there with us this week!

(Be sure to check out the GREAT sale we have going on right now! Only a few staterooms remain on: Christmas Markets on the Danube Holiday River Cruise 2017, departing December 13th, 2017.)

As with many of these travel industry events, the hosting resort rolls out the red carpet and takes attendees on what is known as a “Site Inspection”. Simply put, it’s a way to introduce us as travel professionals to the resort and allows us to see a bit more, behind the scenes, at all that they have to offer their guests. There’s no better way to explain it to a client than after you’ve actually been there & experienced it first hand. And trust me when I say, at The Grand at Moon Palace Resort, they do an exceptional job!

We’ll be sure and post all the pictures and details from the site inspection in a future post so you can see for yourself how awesome this all-inclusive resort truly is! I would highly recommend it to all of our client families, for sure! Your kids will TOTALLY LOVE IT! Oh, and so will you adults! I’m so glad we went! Not only was the resort spectacular, but the conference was truly exceptional as well.

I’m excited about the in-depth sessions and expertise that was shared regarding Group Travel. It’s a totally different world than individual travel and the top industry suppliers know it! Many even set up special programs and dedicated departments and exclusive phone support, just for agencies like ours that specialize in group travel.

As with any conference, the days are long and jam-packed with information, handouts, and, in my case, some ferocious note-taking. Attendees come home on such a high note; anxious to implement everything they’ve learned! And this conference was certainly no exception.

In the coming months, you’ll see it all first hand as we slowly roll out bits & pieces of all that we’ve learned,  tweak certain escorted travel packages we already offer and roll out some TOTALLY new offerings as well. If you’re on our mailing list or a past traveler with me personally, you’ll soon be receiving a survey to help us shape our future offerings to match what our existing clients would like to see more of. (So thank you in advance for completing this important survey when it comes out.)

Exciting things are ahead as we circle our wagons a bit and focus our efforts more on what we do best… Group Travel. Of course we’ll still be right here standing by to assist you, your family, and your friends with booking  family vacations and corporate travel as well.

Thank you SO much for standing with us and supporting us so diligently! We’re in business today because of your support and faithful endorsement of us.

Please keep us in mind should you know of anyone looking to travel as a group, either for a corporate events, family celebrations or even a personal vacation.

Our Mission remains the same…

To seamlessly facilitate our travelers Adventures; large or small.

A Special Note About the Caribbean Islands

According to Wikipedia, the Caribbean is often described as, “the most tourism-dependent region in the world.” Last year, according to www.caribbeanone.com, tourism surpassed 29 million arrivals for the first time ever! But in recent months as we know, many of the Caribbean islands have taken some serious direct hits from powerful Category 4 & 5 hurricanes.

As a Travel Company that supports missions in the Caribbean, it’s important to us that we share with you that the Caribbean islands are still in fact… Open For Business!

Enjoy this video and rest assured that we will continue to promote travel & tourism to the Caribbean islands in full support of the people that live there.
